The F1 Bahrain Grand Prix Odds have taken shape following an incident-filled Azerbaijan Grand Prix, with Mercedes drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell occupying the top two positions in the betting market.

Russell arrives at the next round after producing his strongest weekend of the 2026 season in Baku. He took pole by eight tenths before controlling the race through two safety car periods to claim his third victory of the year.

Antonelli endured a more difficult Azerbaijan weekend. The championship leader crashed during Q1 and started 16th, but recovered to fifth during the race. His advantage over Russell now stands at 66 points.

Max Verstappen also continued his recent improvement by finishing second in Baku, while Isack Hadjar completed the podium on his return from injury. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc took fourth, while McLaren left Azerbaijan without the result its pace had promised.

F1 Bahrain Grand Prix Odds: Antonelli Remains Favourite

Kimi Antonelli leads the Bahrain Grand Prix market at an approximate average price of 11/8.

The Mercedes driver remains the championship leader despite his difficult Azerbaijan weekend. Antonelli’s qualifying ended when he hit the barrier at Turn 1, leaving him 16th on the grid.

He recovered strongly in the race and eventually finished fifth, limiting the damage to his championship advantage.

Antonelli has eight Grand Prix victories this season, including consecutive wins at Monza and Madring before the Azerbaijan round. Mercedes has also established itself as the leading team of 2026, leaving Antonelli at the head of the betting despite Russell’s victory in Baku.

Bahrain Grand Prix Odds: Russell Shortens After Dominant Baku Win

George Russell sits at approximately 3/1 following his dominant Azerbaijan Grand Prix victory.

Russell was the standout performer in Baku. He topped FP1 and FP2 before taking his fifth pole of the season with a 1m42.526s, beating Leclerc by around eight tenths.

He converted pole into victory despite two safety cars repeatedly reducing his advantage. Verstappen applied pressure during the closing stages, but Russell remained ahead to secure his third win of 2026 and first since Austria.

The result also reduced Antonelli’s championship advantage by 15 points, leaving Russell 66 points behind his team-mate.

After finishing first, first and second across Baku practice before dominating qualifying and the race, Russell’s position near the top of the Bahrain market reflects his current form.

F1 Bahrain Grand Prix Odds: Norris and Verstappen Around 7/1

Lando Norris and Max Verstappen form the next group at approximately 7/1.

Verstappen carries stronger recent results into the next race. The Red Bull driver finished third at Monza before taking second at both Madring and Baku.

He started eighth in Azerbaijan but worked his way through the field and passed Oscar Piastri for second following the first safety car. Verstappen then pressured Russell during the closing stages without finding a way past the Mercedes.

Norris had a far more frustrating weekend. He qualified fifth and struggled to match the leading pace during the race before being caught in the lap 36 restart accident involving Franco Colapinto and Pierre Gasly.

The retirement ended Norris’ run of strong results following victories in Hungary and the Netherlands and third place in Spain.

Bahrain Grand Prix Odds: Ferrari Pair Around 11/1

Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton both sit around the 11/1 mark in the supplied market.

Leclerc produced the stronger Azerbaijan result after qualifying second and finishing fourth. Ferrari was unable to match Russell’s Mercedes over the full weekend, but Leclerc remained close to the podium battle.

Hamilton also showed competitive speed during practice but qualified sixth and missed out on a top-five finish during the race.

Ferrari continues to search for the qualifying and race performance required to consistently challenge Mercedes. The Bahrain weekend provides another opportunity for Leclerc and Hamilton to close the gap.

Bahrain Odds: Piastri Available Around 13/1

Oscar Piastri sits at approximately 13/1 after missing a podium opportunity in Azerbaijan.

The McLaren driver qualified third and moved past Leclerc at the start before spending the opening part of the race in second.
Verstappen passed him following the safety car restart, before another mistake at Turn 1 while defending against Hadjar cost Piastri further positions.

McLaren’s Baku weekend therefore ended without the result expected after both cars reached Q3.

F1 Bahrain Odds: Hadjar Around 25/1 After Baku Podium

Isack Hadjar is the longest-priced driver among the eight featured, with his average odds sitting around 25/1.

Those odds come despite an impressive Azerbaijan Grand Prix on his return from injury.

Hadjar had missed the previous three races with a wrist problem but qualified fourth in Baku before finishing third behind Russell and Verstappen.

Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies praised both Hadjar’s outright speed and his work alongside Verstappen. His podium also followed confirmation that he will remain with Red Bull for the 2027 season.
